Quick - What are the three most exciting words in the english
language (besides `I love
you')? Its `Work At Home'!!
In these difficult economic times, with job security being
practically nonexistent, millions
of people are continually in pursuit of the `perfect' home
business. And all the hype out
there (`quit the rat race, be your own boss, run your own business,
and earn $10,000 in 10
days!!') certainly contributes to the attractiveness of running a
business from your home.
But am I the only one who sees the word `business' while every one
else focuses on the
word `home'? I think some people who want to `work at home' picture
themselves
lounging around in their bunny rabbit slippers, watching daytime
television, while the
money comes flowing in.
NOT!!
You think you work hard now? THE HARDEST WORK YOU EVER DO IN YOUR
LIFE WILL BE WORKING FOR YOURSELF! YOU are the president and CEO.
YOU
are the accounting and payroll department. YOU are the marketing,
sales and promotion
department. YOU are the support staff - secretarial, mail room,
etc. YOU are running
the business. Are you really up to the task? I can tell you that
the rewards are well worth
it.
I am in contact with people every day who say they would love to work
at home, but not
only are their earnings expectations unrealistic, they are unwilling
or unable to invest the
amount of time and money required to reach those expectations. It
can take up to one
year, minimum, to see any real income, let alone profit. (MLM
junkies take note!)
There are a great many reputable companies out there that you can
sign on with and make
a good living, if you are willing to stay in for the long haul. My
advice is to, find
something you love (be it cosmetics, nutritional products, home
products, travel, etc.).
and are willing to pursue with enthusiasm and conviction. I promise
you the money will
follow.
