Indirect Advertising is nothing new. Big ad agencies have
been using it for years.
They run campaigns for big companies offering people willing
to respond all kinds of premiums and prizes for doing so.
The advertising may not even remotely relate to the product
they eventually want to sell.
I am going to tell you how you can use this same strategy to
increase your sales online, but first a little more specific
background.
One way to get people to view your offers online is to use
traffic exchanges. In it's simplest form, for every two
websites you view, they send someone to view one of yours.
Some say this is no longer effective, since the ones viewing
your page are just collecting hits and not really interested
in what you have to offer.
HOGWASH!
If you apply the principal of 'Indirect Advertising', you
can still get plenty of action. Just don't waste your
resources showing your money making websites or affiliate
products that cause their eyes to glaze over like everyone
else is doing.
First ask yourself, "Why are they doing this?".
To get more traffic, right?
So give them what they want!
Present helpful ways they can achieve THEIR goal, not yours.
Then you will have plenty of opportunities to contact them
later, instead of losing them after your 30 seconds expire.
